The mechanism of pulling down a strap to shorten the sling seems a smart idea. But in real life

0 3/5 pingapple (Singapore) - See all my reviews This review is from: Carry Speed New 2014 FS-Pro, DSLR Camera Quick Release Neoprene Sling Shoulder Neck Strap + F-2 foldable mounting plate (Electronics) The local shop only carried the FS-Pro. Bought one and found it too bulky and too heavy. The mechanism of pulling down a strap to shorten the sling seems a smart idea. But in real life, the length of the sling will slide back longer while you walk. Feeling troublesome to adjust the sling length for the whole day. I have used Peak Design leash, slides, capture and SpiderHolster Pro Think Tank ProSpeed Belt Adapter Kit. They are all better than the FS-Pro. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , January 10, 2015

The Best Strap But Not Easy to Get

0 5/5 Librarius42 - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Carryspeed Fs-Slim Prime Quick Release Neoprene Sling Neck Strap (Accessory) This is simply the best camera strap I have ever seen. Get one if you can - you won't regret it.Update: A mixed experience here. As fans of Carryspeed know, this is probably the best camera strap ever made. The design is perfect and the craftsmanship is first rate. However, Carryspeed is having patent problems and their future is uncertain. There are knock-offs surfacing now with variations on the name. Also the Carryspeed website has been pirated. I ordered the strap from Turtleback, Ltd because it was the only source I could find at the time. Delivery from Hong Kong took three weeks, and with shipping the strap cost over $90.00! I absolutely love the strap, but you might not find it worth the hassle. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , October 10, 2014

You cannot find a better camera sling.

0 5/5 Jerry Bottenfield (Louisville, Colorado United States) - See all my reviews This review is from: Carryspeed Fs-Slim Prime Quick Release Neoprene Sling Neck Strap (Accessory) The quality of this strap/sling far surpasses anything on the market. The quality of the metal components is crazy good, the machining is incredible, the thinking behind the design is light years ahead of others. Quality, quality, quality. I could not be more impressed. Designed and made in the USA. Very comfortable neoprene strap pad, I think the wider strap would be overkill for a DSLR. Why it is not more widely available is a mystery to me 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , December 5, 2014

    Good deal Carry Sling

I purchased this strap recently to provide another carry option for my Canon 7D with 70-200mm L 4 lens. I was concerned after reading several reviews on similar low priced products which showed periodic fastener failure- the horror of losing several thousand dollars of equipment to a faulty part is hard to take. Anyway, after pondering the situation and reading the seller's description, I decided to go with this product. The strap was easy to attach to the camera and seemed sturdy: it wore well, also. I pulled on the fastener to test possible strength, durability and construction quality. No failure noted. So far, all is well. It appears as though the product will live up to its billing of being tested to 150 pounds load capacity - at least enough strength to carry most camera/lens combinations without apparatus failure. I still periodically check the screw to ensure that it is tight, secure, and appropriately placed. The hook is starting to flake but this appears to be cosmetic... 4/5 Big Buy - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) Not too bulky, makes camera lightweight, and secondary strap keeps it secure!

I love this strap! I did a lot of research into which camera strap to buy. I travel a lot and also photograph portrait sessions and weddings. I wanted something that was versatile for my different photography. It was also important to have something sturdy for my $2000+ equipment. I did not want to risk having my camera drop on the ground. I also didn't want something that cost $60+. I am a petite female and was also considering the female specific styles since I figured they would be more comfortable for me. I decided to order the Fotasy and compare it to the more expensive/highly recommended and well-known brand to see which one I liked better. This was the clear winner! First, it was about 1/8 of the price. Second, it is very comfortable. I didn't find any issues with this strap being a non-female-specific design. Third, the screw was very secure. I walked around all day with the camera and it never budged. Fourth, I love the fact that it has that second strap that goes... 5/5 philephan81 - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) Solid and Reliable

0 5/5 fightingmink - See all my reviews This review is from: Carry Speed Xtreme Extreme, DSLR Camera Weatherproof Rubberized Sling Shoulder Neck Strap /RED Color + F-2 foldable mounting plate (Electronics) I had this now for over 2 years. It's the little things that makes this works for me. The arca swiss camera base plate, the rubberized strap that prevents slipping (a little bit attention getter because it's bright red), back to the base plate-it has numerous mounting spots, the quick release and quick tighten strap, and the solid ball hinge. I guess those aren't little things, but combined they make carrying a huge lens like a 70-400 easy. Almost zero fatigue on the neck and shoulders when trotting around Disneyland, or roaming the streets of Paris and London.Right off the bat, this doesn't feel or look cheap. Great product and Seller

0 5/5 David P. Rehm - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Carry Speed CS-3 Sling Camera Strap (Electronics) Very fast shipping (arrived 3 days after purchase). Good communication from seller. I used it just a couple of days after receiving it when my family and I went to NYC for a Vegan-festival. I have a Nikon D7000 and at first I was a little cautious (nervous) just having my camera dangling by my side (fearing it would fall) only being held by this "ball" that fits into this socket on the included plate - up until this point I had only ever used my cameras included strap. Needless to say everything is safe and well. Great product. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , March 30, 2014

Subway Car Within the Metal Tags For Bags

subways, subway station, london, new york, san
With the 1930s came the widespread use of stainless steel for carbodies. The typical passenger car was now much lighter than its "heavyweight" wood cousins of old. The new "lightweight" and streamlined cars carried passengers in speed and comfort to an extent that had not been experienced to date. Aluminum and Cor-Ten steel were also used in lightweight car construction, but stainless steel was the preferred material for carbodies. It isn't the lightest of materials, nor is it the least expensive, but stainless steel cars could be, and often were, left unpainted except for the car's reporting marks that were required by law. By the end of the 1930s, railroads and carbuilders were debuting car body and interior styles that could only be dreamed of before. In 1937, the Pullman Company delivered the first cars equipped with roomettes – that is, the car's interior was sectioned off into compartments, much like the coaches that were still in widespread use across Europe. Pullman's roomettes, however, were designed with the single traveler in mind. The roomette featured a large picture window, a privacy door, a single fold-away bed, a sink and small toilet. The roomette's floor space was barely larger than the space taken up by the bed, but it allowed the traveler to ride in luxury compared to the multilevel semiprivate berths of old. The higher clearances in North America enabled a major advancement in passenger car design, bi-level (double-decker) commuter coaches that could hold more passengers. These cars started to become common in the United States in the 1960s, and were adopted by Amtrak for the Superliner design as well as by many other railroads and manufacturers. By the year 2000 double-deckers rivaled single level cars in use around the world. While intercity passenger rail travel declined in America, ridership continued to increase in other parts of the world. With the increase came an increased use of newer technology on existing and new equipment. The Spanish company Talgo began experimenting in the 1940s with technology that would enable the axles to steer into a curve, allowing the train to move around the curve at a higher speed. The steering axles evolved into mechanisms that would also tilt the passenger car as it entered a curve to counter the centrifugal force experienced by the train, further increasing speeds on existing track.[2] Today, Talgo trains are used in many places in Europe and they have also found a home in North America on some short and medium distance routes such as Eugene, Oregon, to Vancouver, British Columbia.

True Freedom Print

This painting of "Being" by Kim McElroy was inspired by the power of the horse. Kim's comments on this painting: "Horses are so graceful. Their powerful legs carry them great distances at amazing speed, yet they appear to float effortlessly over the ground. This horse expresses the joy of simply being. When I had completed the painting, I felt something was missing, then I knew… I added the misty exhalation of the breath in the morning air, and the horse came to life."
