Works Perfectly in My Old Camera

Worked perfectly for my old Fujifilm camera from 2001. I swapped out my old 128MB card for this 2GB card and could take tons of pictures on my vacation at the 3M setting and never came close to filling it. I did not notice any speed improvement when taking pictures. The biggest factor in speed for me is the battery quality. Switching from cheap batteries to made a huge difference, especially when flash turned on due to power drain characteristics between pictures to charge up for flash again. So all that I saw was dramatically increased capacity (16X) which worked without a problem. I couldn't be more thrilled.Definitely go to the Olympus website or your camera's website and check picture card compatibility. The manual for my camera was out of date and only listed a... 5/5 Tiger (San Jose, CA) - See all my reviews, December 22, 2010

Excellent Mb/Cost Ratio For Less Than $14

Even though Wikipedia said the "xD" picture card is officially obsolete as of 2010, there are still many thousands and thousands of "Olympus and FujiFilm" cameras that these memory cards can be used in.We recently upgraded from our 7 year old FujiFilm FinePix A340 to a Canon PowerShot A3100IS because of the smaller factory installed 64Mb memory card.. and the limited number of pictures/movie length (along with having NO sound capabilities with the A340), that was limited on the A340.Instead of throwing our old FujiFilm camera away, I decided to use it as our bumming around/backup unit.. and as such, upgraded the camera's "firmware" to allow the use of the larger/faster "xD M+" card memory."Read/Write" speeds increased from the old 64Mb "M" memory of 1.3/5.. to that of the replaced "M+" memory of 3.75/6. Picture capacity and movie length increased from 33 pictures and less than 60 seconds of movies to that now being available of 4,264 pictures.. and... 5/5 Dakota Duce (Tampa Bay Gulf Coast Area) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) Does very well what it is intended for

I bought this picture card despite the misgivings I have based on prior reviews that it is slow, and only records 10 seconds of video.I am happy to say that my gamble has paid off. In terms of speed, I've had no problems with this card. With video (which was one of the main reasons I bought this card), my camera, an Olympus FE-120, calculates the amount of recording time I have based on the remaining free space on the card, which is usually over an hour and a half. A previous review would have you believe that it only enables you to record for 10 seconds at a time. This is not the case. I was able to record continuously for about 4 minutes and I only stopped because I was done recording what I wanted to record. The camera indicated I had over an hour and a half remaining when I decided to stop. Here is a breakdown of the various picture/video quality and the amount of pictures/time the camera can take. Please be advised that the below numbers are less... 5/5 D. This review is from: Olympus M+ 2 GB xD-Picture Card Flash Memory Card 2-Pack 202233 (Personal Computers) You can pick these up on the Friday sale for around $15/card. Nothing works in an olympus stylus or similar camera like the name brand cards... I've tried them all. Don't cheap out, just wait for a sale (J&R is a good source too, and sometimes you can find refurb models on the Olympus site). These cards enable you to use panoramic and proprietary Olympus camera modes. Other cards do not. The camera doesn't freeze, and the pictures are always great with these memory cards.I like the 2GB size. You can take mini-movies with the Stylus and these will also play in your digital frames! Tight Fit

0 2/5 M (Eugene, OR USA) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Olympus MASD-1 microSD/TF to XD Card Adapter Adaptor for Acer computer (Personal Computers) If it didn't technically end up working in the camera, it would be 1 star. However, after cutting off some of the extemporaneous plastic from a bad mold job, I was able to push it in, almost uncomfortably so. Getting it back out might be another issue. The trapezoidal tab thing on the side of it prevents the "push to eject" functionality. Also, getting the microSD card into the adapter was another super tight fit requiring an uncomfortable amount of pressure to get in, and even now it's now flush with the side. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , February 14, 2014
