About this book
With the release of the RED ONE" digital cinema camera, the possibility of recording stunning, cinematic-quality images with an affordable camera became a reality. Now that the industry has embraced the nascent technology and added new tools and workflows, filmmakers-from independents on up-are leading the charge on establishing new rules. Works and Looks great, It works with RRS Quick release just fine.

0 5/5 Mike - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Desmond DPL-100 PL100 100mm QR Lens Plate Quick Release Arca Swiss Compatible (Electronics) I would have skip the review of this kind of products, But since I read some reviews that are wrong, I had to write this and help others from being misled.I needed plates for a specific application and these (100mm and 150mm) looked perfect but I was reluctant to get them since some people posted that this was too small to work with RRS QR. I have 2 BH-55 LR ball heads and a RRS PG-02 Full Gimbal-pano head and all worked perfectly with this plate as a mater of fact exactly the same as the $80+ RRS plates, It requires the same pressure as my other RRS plates to lock it. This thing is a bargain at $22. I wish I had found these before spending a fortune on RRS plates. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , August 14, 2013

Ok...but anti slip nubs are to small

0 3/5 G Man - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Desmond DPL-100 PL100 100mm QR Lens Plate Quick Release Arca Swiss Compatible (Electronics) This looks nice, feels nice, and clamps fine..... Main problem is a crappy screw, and the anti slip flange is too small... I was using this on a gimbal sidemount and it was always slipping a bit....If you are going to be using on a Full Wimberley or other, it probably will be fine. I replaced the crappy screw with a quality screw, and now it is much more secure!! 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , January 30, 2014

    Nicely finished and lightweight

0 5/5 Claudio Guareschi - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Desmond DPL-100 PL100 100mm QR Lens Plate Quick Release Arca Swiss Compatible (Electronics) Worked great to mate a Tamron 150-600 to a Markins (Arca-Swiss compatible) ball head. I needed a plate that would extend the lens tripod attachment by about 1" to better balance the lens and this plate does the job. It is light weight, strong and well crafted. Great buy for the price 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , September 13, 2014
